About Mark Thompson
I have lived full time in Cyprus since
February 2005, having retired from the Bristol area of England in November
2004.
I live in the Paphos area of Cyprus in a
village set in the hills of the Akamas Peninsula.
I was first drawn to healing in February
2005, following a visit to a Health and Wellbeing Festival in Paphos, and
subsequently undertook the Basic Pranic Healing Course later that year.
Astonished by the results following the Basic
Pranic Healing Course, I went on to take the Advanced Pranic Healing Course,
Crystal Healing, Pranic Psychotherapy and Psychic Self Defence courses over the
ensuing twelve months.
In January 2007, I travelled to New York
where I undertook the teacher training programme. This has to be followed by practical
experiential learning, co-teaching Basic Pranic Healing Courses. It also
requires the growth along the spiritual path to gather a better understanding
of the world in a much wider sense!
In the summer of 2008, having completed
several Basic Pranic Healing Courses with my teacher, I passed through the
teacher training and became an Authorised Pranic Healing Instructor. I am now
authorised to teach Pranic Healing basic courses, although for personal reasons
I am not taking students for the Pranic Healing Basic Course.
In 2009, realising that healing is not down
to an individual, but rather that the individual is a channel for healing
energies, I started to search for more guidance and answers to help me. I was
drawn to start study in the role of Angels, and Spirit Guides. I have known for
some time that for me to be able to heal, I need the support of the spirit
world, but did not have a very clear understanding of how that worked!
I kept finding a web site when I was
searching and signed up to do some distance learning with Darren Linton (based
in the UK). He runs courses on ‘Guided by Angels’, and so I have been working
through the course materials. Suddenly things make more sense. What I have
perceived as simple intuition is more likely to be guidance from Healing Angels
or Spirit Guides. Suffice to say, although it can seem at the start as being a
bit spooky, be assured, the guidance is there!
So, 2010 is now here, and it promises to be a
very interesting year!!
On the weekend of May 15th 16th,
Darren Linton will come to Paphos, Cyprus to run the ‘Guided by Angels’ Course.
The start of another chapter I have no doubt! If you are reading this and feel
